Nepal’s Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli has reaffirmed the country’s commitment to the ‘One China’ policy, stating that no anti-China activities will be tolerated within Nepal's territory. This declaration emphasizes Nepal’s intention to maintain strong diplomatic and economic ties with Beijing.

PM Oli highlighted the importance of fostering a stable relationship with China, especially as Nepal seeks economic support to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic

The Prime Minister called for increased Chinese investment in infrastructure and development projects, particularly those under the Belt and Road Initiative.

By prohibiting anti-China sentiments, the Nepali government aims to create a conducive environment for bilateral cooperation, ensuring that relations with China remain beneficial for Nepal's growth and development.
