A police officer said that the explosion occurred inside the railway station when the Peshawar-bound express was about to depart for its destination. The explosion, which also damage the platform roof, was heard from far and wide in different areas of the city.
The bomb disposal squad inspected said the scene, and SSP Operation said they would soon provide information about the nature of the explosion.
