Russia to Behin Mass Production of Hypersonic Missiles, President Putin Approves Plan


Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday ordered the mass production of Zircon hypersonic missiles. He stated that Russia will continue testing these missiles, including in wartime scenarios, based on the nature and level of security threats. Ukraine claimed on Friday that a Russian missile used in Thursday's attack reached a top speed of 13,000 kilometers per hour.

The war between Russia and Ukraine is now taking a new turn. President Putin has ordered the mass production of hypersonic missiles for use in the Ukraine war. A day after firing missiles at Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that Moscow will conduct more tests of hypersonic Zircon ballistic missiles under wartime conditions.

We will continue these tests, including in wartime conditions, Putin said during a televised meeting with military officials. He added that based on the nature and level of security threats to Russia, testing will proceed as planned.

On Thursday morning, Russia fired a next-generation missile at the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, marking a significant increase in the weapons used during the nearly three-year -long conflict.

The Kremlin leader approved the testing of a missile capable of flying at Mach 10-10 times the speed of sound-and called for its mass production. He stated that Russia is also developing similar advanced systems and emphasized the need to begin large-scale production 



No other country has such missile technology.

He said the weapon system tested yesterday is another reliable guarantee of Russia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Putin claimed that no other country in the world currently has this missile technology. However, he acknowledged that other nations will eventually develop it, saying, That will happen tomorrow, in a year, or two. But we have this system now. that is want matters.

Ukraine stated on Friday that the Russian missile used in Thursday's attack reached a maximum speed of 13,000 kilometers to hit its target. For the first time, Ukraine publicly assessed this new weapon. Meanwhile, the deployment of new ballistic missiles by Russia has heightened fears of an escalation in the war.

In response, Ukraine's parliament canceled its session on Friday. The Ukrainian military reported that Russia launched an attack using 114 drones, out of which 64 were shot down. Meanwhile, Russia stated that Ukraine handed over 46 Russian civilians who had been taken by Ukrainian forces in August after occupying part of Russia's Kursk region.



Hypersonic missile strike on Ukraine a warning to the West Russia

Russia announced on Friday that the new hypersonic ballistic missile used in the attack on Ukraine was a warning to the West. Moscow stated that if the West takes any reckless actions in support of Ukraine, it will respond strongly. A day earlier, Ukraine claimed that intercontinental ballistic missile (CIBM) at the Ukrainian city Dnipro on Thursday.

Following this, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that a new medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) was tested during the attack on Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said , "The main message is that Western countries supplying missiles to Ukraine and participating in attacks on Russia's response. Russia has clearly demonstrated its capabilities.
