President Joe Biden's administration is urging Ukraine to quickly increase the size of its army. A senior official from the Biden administration said on Wednesday that the Democratic administration wants Ukraine to lower 25 to 18. The basic reality for Ukraine now is that it needs more soldiers for the fight.

AP, Washington: President Joe Biden's administration is urging Ukraine to quickly increase the size of its army. The White House has suggested that Ukraine recruit more soldiers and amend its laws to allow 18-year-old to join the military.


The number of soldiers available to support struggling Ukraine will increase.

On the condition of anonymity, a senior official from the Biden administration said on Wednesday that the Democratic administration wants Ukraine to lower the current recruitment age from 25 to 18. This will help expand the number of soldiers available to support Ukraine, which has been struggling in its nearly three-year-long war with Russia. Irresponsible actions by Ukraine and its Western allies could push the world to the brink of disaster. The basic reality for Ukraine now is that it needs more soldiers for the ongoing fight.

The West should provide nuclear weapons to Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Russia's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that there is ongoing discussion in some circles about the West providing nuclear weapons to Ukraine, which is madness. Preventing such a situation was one of the reasons Moscow attacked Ukraine.

The ministry's spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, stated that it is in the interest of responsible governments to ensure that such a scenario does not occur, as it would be suicidal. Irresponsible actions by Ukraine and its Western allies could push the world to the brink of disaster.

Russia has banned 30 British citizens, including the Deputy Prime Minister, from entering the country.

According to the ministry, in response to the hostility of British officials, Russia is ready to further expand the sanctions list. Earlier, after expelling a British diplomat on charges of espionage, the Foreign Ministry had summoned the British ambassador to Russia and protested.
