According to Yonhap News Agency, this decision came after the National Assembly voted to end martial law. Yoon's cabinet approved a proposal to halt its enforcement. About six hours later, Yoon officially revoked the martial law order on Tuesday. The emergency declaration had raised serious concerns both domestically and internationally, leading to protests on the streets, with people chanting slogans against the government.
